The Metro Group, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a Territory Manager position with exciting potential for professional advancement. Since 1925, The Metro Group has delivered water treatment solutions and services to a diverse portfolio of customers in the industrial, institutional and commercial market sectors. Candidates may reside anywhere within reasonable commuting distance of the Albany-metro area, as this will be the geography of customers served. This position reports into our Rochester, NY office.

The Territory Manager is responsible for the management and cultivation of an existing client base to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales growth metrics. This position is an excellent opportunity for a smart, highly motivated individual with a desire to grow professionally by meeting expectations and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities include:

· Act as customer advocate to fulfill contractual obligations and meet the customer’s needs by providing value-added solutions

· Oversee the completion of contractual service by working closely with our team of dedicated field service technicians

· Foster and cultivate existing relationships as a solutions provider to grow business portfolio

· Knock on new doors to grow the customer base

· Meet sales and operational metrics tied to Business Plan goals

Requirements:

· B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry or Related Field

· Experience with HVAC water treatment or related mechanical sales preferred

· Track record of achieving and exceeding sales growth targets

· Experience with account management and relationship building

· High energy, self-motivated individual with entrepreneurial aspirations

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and CRM environments

· Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment with a commitment to responsiveness and customer/co-worker satisfaction

· Excellent work/professional references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
